Dr. Tingwen Tina Shao

ㅤDr. Tingwen Tina Shao is the current Dean of the Tainan University of Technology Music Department, where she teaches piano performance, piano literature, and Taiwanese music history.

ㅤShe has performed and taught at international music festivals in Italy, the United States, South Korea, and Spain. As a competition juror, she has served in California, Japan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Singapore. Her students have won national and international competitions in Taiwan, Thailand, South Korea, and Germany.

ㅤDr. Shao holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Louisiana State University and both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the Peabody Conservatory of Music of Johns Hopkins University. She is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Louisiana State University Concerto Competition, and received a full scholarship from the Evergreen Foundation to study at Peabody.
